DESCRIPTION
Herald Monthly is a free broadsheet monthly Chinese newspaper published by the first Wednesday of the month. HM Canada has grown into a multimedia production organization since 2016.
HISTORY
- The first edition of Herald Monthly was published in the U.S. by Chinese Christian Herald Crusades in 1988.
- The first Canadian edition, Canada East, was published in Toronto in 1992.
- The Canada West edition was published in Vancouver in 1995.
- The media studio in Markham was purchased in December 2016. This acquisition increased our video productions, with mini-series such as "Animation Laugh", "Lens Masterpiece”, “Thoughts in Poetry”, “Mystery in My Heart”, “Bloom”, “Workplace Wisdom”, “A Person’s World”, “ Bread Idea”, “Riddles with Bible Verse”, “ Biblical Plant Sentiments Drawing”, “From the Bottom of My Heart“ by Rev. Mo, "Rev. Chan's Sharings", “Sand Painting Miracle 12”, numerous interviews, and much more. All videos produced are posted and available on the Herald Monthly YouTube Channel.
- The 25-minute, Herald Monthly-produced program "Living Plus" aired on Fairchild TV beginning in November 2018, as part of a thirteen episode package until late January 2019. The program is aired every Saturday evening at 8:05pm across Canada for Fairchild TV viewers.
