For 33 years, the unwavering dedication of the Herald Monthly’s team has powerfully testified to the boundless grace of God.
Development expands from the U.S. to Canada with the publication of the monthly newsletter.
- 1991: 3,000 copies of Herald Monthly from New York shipped monthly to Toronto.
- 1992: Canadian edition launched in Toronto with 20,000 monthly copies, free distribution.
- 1995: Vancouver branch opened; 20,000 Western Canada copies distributed monthly.
- 1998: Eastern edition added color printing and reached the Atlantic provinces.
- 2005: Print volume increased—46,000 (East), 30,000 (West); nationwide distribution across Canadian Chinese communities.
New Milestone: Establishing Our Permanent Office
- 2006: Acquired the Steelcase Road West office in Markham, establishing a permanent headquarters.
- 2009: Launched the website ca for online article access.
- 2010: Introduced audio versions of articles in Cantonese and Mandarin.
- 2011: Expanded print editions—24 pages in Eastern Canada, 20 in Western Canada.
- 2012–2015: Entered multimedia with video series like The Joy of Cooking, Golden Apple Duet, and more.
Official Launch of the Media Production Center
- 2016–2017: Acquired Markham-based production center; upgraded equipment and launched diverse new video series like Where the Heart Finds Peace and Three-Minute Tales.
- 2018–2019: Produced Life Plus, a 13-episode TV series aired nationwide on Fairchild TV. Continued expanding video content with shows like Chef Kei’s Kitchen and Freehand Art Studio.
Pandemic-Era Breakthroughs in Video Production
- 2019–2020 During the pandemic, Herald Monthly quickly launched timely video series like Finding Peace in the Pandemic and Spiritual Reflections, some updated weekly—breaking from the usual monthly schedule. Other creative videos continued, including Life’s Psalms and A Feast in the Maple Forest.
Vibrant Videos, Boundless Creativity
- 2021–2025 Herald Monthly launched Current Affairs Plus, pairing video interviews with monthly features. New videos include 2-Minute Bible Stories, Mo Dad’s Reflections, and Verse Puzzle Challenge, exploring topics from faith to daily life.
- A new music edition featured shows like Golden Melodies and My Heart, My Song II.
- Today, Herald Monthly's multimedia spans print, online, audio, video, and music—shared widely via social media and global platforms like YouTube, Spotify, and WeChat.
A Diverse and Content-Rich Collection of Publications
- Publications & Albums Herald Monthly has published a rich variety of books covering faith, ethics, personal journeys, and devotionals—such as Eyes Within the Heart, Faith Essentials, and God's 40 Colors of Joy.
- Cookbooks feature cherished recipes like The Joy of Cooking – Western Pastries and Chef Kei’s Teochew Cuisine.
- Audio editions include Grace-Filled Words and Rainbow in the Clouds by Pastor Raymond Wai.
