Two Houses（English）
The story of "The Two Houses" is found in the Bible, in Matthew 7:24-27.
The wise man chose to build his house on the rock, while the foolish man chose to build his house on the sand.
Building on the rock was more difficult, whereas building on the sand was very easy.
After some time, the house on the rock was completed, and the house on the sand had also been finished earlier.
Before long, there came heavy rain, floods and strong winds. The house on the sand collapsed completely because of its unstable foundation.
But the house built on the rock, because of its solid foundation, stood firm and was not damaged at all.
It turns out that the foundation is the most important. Jesus’ teachings are the rock-solid foundation of our lives.
Those who hold fast to Jesus’ teachings can stand firm even in the face of storms and won’t fall.On the other hand, those who do not follow His teachings are like houses built on sand—easily destroyed when difficulties come.
That’s why Jesus said, “...the wise man built his house on the rock.”
